The proprietor has designed each of the 18 guest rooms to inspire, amuse, relax or enliven its occupants. The Peacock Suite honors the winged-creatures of the world. Besides a canopied king bed, it also has two divan-beds in the sitting room, and it is appointed with stained glass windows, a Persian Temple light, an antique electric fireplace and a small corner shrine. The Sunshine Room features a canopied queen bed, and it is decorated with the colors of sunrise and sunset. The Golden Gate Park celebrates the 3-mile long park behind the hotel. The Friends room is reputed to be the "most friendly room" at this inn, with bay windows looking out over Haight Street. A complimentary, continental breakfast is served each morning.
